HOW TO CLEANSE

BEFORE YOUR CLEANSE
Whether you are a beginner or no stranger to juice cleansing, we have something for everyone. There are many reasons to do a juice cleanse, & they are truly rewarding. Some of the results may include weight loss, improvement in skin health, mental clarity, focus, increase in energy, positive upbeat mood, Let us guide you through your cleanse and make it a seamless experience.
The first step is to take note of your current eating habits & pinpoint an appropriate cleanse & duration. Preparation is key because you want to prepare your body to avoid negative detox symptoms. Negative symptoms include headaches, fatigue, low energy, irritation, diarrhea, and others.
 
HOW TO PREPARE BASED ON YOUR DIET
If you consume junk food on the reg, and frequently indulge in sugars & fast food we recommend doing a pre-detox for a week before you dive into juice cleansing. Substitute any sodas or sugary drinks with water or green tea, cut down on meats and substitute with a vegetable-packed meal like a salad, & substitute sugary snacks with fresh fruit or raw nuts.
If you are this person, We recommend our 1 or 2 Day Beginner Cleanse.
If your diet regularly consists of burgers, processed meats, & any other packaged foods with the occasional small side of veggies we recommend 4 days of pre-detoxing with plenty of water, salads for meals, & fruit & raw nuts for snacks.
If this describes you, we recommend our 1 or 2 Day Beginner Cleanse depending on your experience & preference.
If you maintain a healthy lifestyle during the week but tend to over-indulge on the weekends with copious amounts of alcohol,& heavy dinners, we recommend cutting out the party on the weekend, getting plenty of rest, water, exercise, & salads or lightly cooked veggies for meals. 
If this describes you, we recommend the 2 Day Intermediate Cleanse.
If your diet is mainly plant based and on point & you rarely fall off the wagon, we recommend pre-cleansing with salads, water, and fresh fruit for snacks for 1 or two days.
We suggest doing a 2 or 3 Day Cleanse or more.
DURING YOUR CLEANSE
When you receive your juices in the mail if you are planning on consuming them the next day place them in the refrigerator. This can take over 24 hours, you can take the juices out of the refrigerator to speed up the process, but do not leave them unattended. If you are planning on consuming them at a later date, store them in the freezer for no more than a couple weeks. Inside your package, you will find a small postcard detailing the order in which to consume your juices as well as how to best defrost them.

Once defrosted, they are ready for consumption! Be sure to shake well before opening. Plan your day so that you are consuming a juice every 2-3 hours. It is not a good idea to wait too long in between your juices because when you get too hungry, that's when the temptations start. The goal of cleansing is to reduce your solid food intake, but if you do feel like you must eat something, don't worry! You can munch on these foods without ruining your cleanse:
  • A handful of raw nuts like almonds or cashews
  • A salad with lemon juice for dressing
  • An avocado
  • Any fresh fruit
  • Try to sub your coffee intake with green tea
  • Do not consume any dairy, sugary foods, or any other processed foods

 

 

AFTER YOUR CLEANSE

You will want to ease yourself back into your life of solid foods. This means not having a steak & a martini right after you have completed your cleanse. This is a good way to get yourself sick. The best way to ease yourself out of it is the same way you came in, lots of salads, steamed veggies, fresh fruits, & raw nuts.
